Description

Specially designed for all adventure seekers, this 4-hour adventure is your perfect introduction to kayaking!

Friendly for beginners, come as you are because equipment and gear will be provided. Hop on one of our tandem kayaks in a pair or with our Expedition Leader, and you are set for your adventure!

The journey begins with a short length of open sea kayaking before entering the mangroves. You will immediately notice a sharp difference between the choppy open sea waves and tranquil calm waters among the mangroves.

Do not be fooled by the peacefulness as inactivity because the mangroves are abuzz with wildlife! For bird-watching enthusiasts, you will be able to spot species such as the Kingfishers, Eagles, Hornbills, Herons and Egrets – and that is just to name a few.

FAQs

The number of participants per grouping is subject to Singapore Government mandatory requirements on crowd gathering; this includes one (1) program leader within the group. We reserve the right to regroup the number of participants accordingly

One way ferry transfer from Changi Point Ferry Terminal to Pulau Ubin and vice versa cost approximately SGD3-5, subject to social distancing measures & crowd control on the ferry

Please be advised that the waiting time for the ferry ranges between 20–30 minutes
Please give yourself ample time to reach Pulau Ubin 20 minutes prior to tour start time

This tour operates in both dry and wet weather

Please note that covered footwear is mandatory for safety purposes. Participants are not allowed to join the program barefoot, in slippers, or in open-toe sandals. For those kayaking, your shoes will get wet during launch-off of the kayaks

Please take note that participants WILL get wet
For the safety of our participants, a mandatory floatation test will be conducted before kayaking

We stress the importance of bringing and wearing the right gear for this activity

Min 2 persons requirement:
Please note that this experience require a minimum of 2 persons to proceed. You may book for fewer than 2 persons, but if there are fewer than 2 persons booked for the date, you may be asked to reschedule to another date.

1. Take the MRT to Tanah Merah Station, then take bus No. 2 to Changi Village Bus Terminal. Walk for 5 mins to Changi Point Ferry Terminal nearby
2. From Changi Point Ferry Terminal, take a boat to Pulau Ubin. The boats will only depart when there are at least 12 passengers; please arrive at the ferry terminal early
3. After arriving at Pulau Ubin, cross the bridge and turn left. Take a one-minute walk and the meeting point, Ubin Adventures No. 34 (small white house), will be on your right
